Likes: When you want to pick her up she runs to the nearest dog bed so she can get a belly rub.
Pet-Peeves: She doesn't like to be left alone.
Favorite Toy: She doesn't seem to care about toys unfortunately, but my favourite toy for her is her pink unicorn.
Favorite Food: chicken jerky, homemade dog dinner, dried beef lung
Favorite Walk: Artwalk in Miami, the local farmer's market, anywhere where there are people who stop to ask about Skyly.
Best Tricks: twirling on her hind legs
Arrival Story: Skyly was fifteen months old when we chose her. The breeder had selected Skyly for her breeding program but changed her mind and had her spayed. We were looking for a small white dog and were delighted to learn about the Bolognese breed. They are a very rare breed in North America.
Bio: Skyly has a unique corded coat. We knew that Havanese, which are related to Bolognese, can be corded. We were quite surprised when Skyly's coat started separating. We had experience cording. Our last dog had been a Puli. We've been cording Skyly for 4 yrs. She doesn't shed at all. The long strands are 7" long. She probably would weigh 8 lbs without the coat.
