Arrival Story: Yeller was infested with ticks, he came to us and we took him in.He was given to a family with kids and was inside the house. When the cuteness wore off, he was booted outside and tossed a little food. The infestation of ticks was severe. He loves everyone he meets and is interested in non-stop play. He loves swimming in the river, riding in cars, trucks and even boats. He has been neutered, on heart worm prevention and flea and tick regiment.
Bio: This dog needs a playmate, preferably another playful dog. He needs a fenced yard because he will follow a stay dog just to play. He has to be kept on a cable sometimes due to both members of household working full time. He comes in at night and lays obediently on his blanket. He is very intelligent and knows hand signals for sit and stay. He has never had a bad experience with anyone and even likes going to the vet. Loves to swim and ride. Likes to play with kids and cats also, doesnt know a stranger, to a fault. He needs a loving family and playmate. He lives in the West Tennessee area, would need to see where he is going, understandably.
My "roomate" Little Bit has posted in her diary how much she wishes I were not her in her territory. I do tend to be too playful and take alot of her glory. When we go to the river, which is her favorite thing to do, I take the stick away from her everytime. She really is very tire of me. I hope that perfect, loviing family with a playmate comes along soon. My foster parents are even willing to work on transporting me if it is necessary.
