Arrival Story:
Maggie is really my brothers dog, but as he moved out, she became partial to me. We got Maggie on my brothers birthday. She was so small and had 4 legs, and she was the only pup at the shop with a patch over her eye.

Bio:
Maggie is special to us. She used to have a friend named Sasha, who was deaf. Sasha used to hate Maggie when we first got her. She would walk down to the neighbours, knowing Maggie would follow, and when she was playing with the other dogs, she would quietly leave-and Maggie would get in trouble! Sadly, Sasha was put down last year (2012). She was becoming blind and arthritic. She was 17 or 105 roughly in dog years. Maggie missed Sasha very much, as we still have no other buddy for her yet. A long time ago, we used to kick and throw balls over the fence to improve her fence jumping skills. One day things took an unfortunate turn. We were playing with her, kicking the ball, and she went to jump the fence. She got her left foot caught in the fence, fell down again and snapped her leg. We waited for the doctor/vet to get here, and she was taken to the vet in the next town. She came back with a plaster around her leg. H bone healed fine- but the skin started to rot away. The vet said cut of her leg or put her down, and we weren't about to lose her. She did not spend that long in a cage for no reason!!! Now my baby is happy, and loves to run more than anything else- my darling little fighter!

Yesterday, my owner got back from her holiday!!! I was so happy, I almost jumped up into the car to see her! She was sick and tired though, so she couldn't play with me. But today, she played with me! She came out and threw the ball for me, and while I fetched, we sort of had a photo shoot. She started taking photos of me running with the ball, and jumping mid-air to catch it. It was just at sunset, and Em said the sun was just perfect, and I was a good girl for posing. :) Then she just lay down on the grass and patted me while I lay down next to her. She took a few more photos, and she was saying that we'll go for a walk tomorrow to get more shots! I'm happy that Emelie's enjoying my company. Gotta go, It's dinner time :)
