Well, this is rather strange. I am in a crate in a hallway, bored. So, I guess I will share the start of my new house life.
My name is Marley (or Nestle as I was previously called). My new owner has decided to adopt me from a rescue. My mom was abandoned in front of a hotel when she was pregnant with me. Luckily, mom was picked up by nice people. This kind lady took care of my mom until she had me. I was at that house for a little over two months.
Today, some woman and her daughter came to my house and took me home with them. I am confused by this. They keep telling me this is my new home. I don't, but I will give it a try.
Since it was night time, I didn't get much playtime with my new owner. She said that we will play later on today. She put in her arms where I fell asleep for awhile. I love sleeping in arms. Then, she moved me to a crate.
I have never been in a crate before, so this is a new experience. I've cried mostly all night. I miss my mom and sister. I hope I get used to being here.
Oh well, time for me to sleep.

The first few nights in my new house were strange and saddening for me. It was saddening because I still miss my mom and sister. I'm getting better with my crying at night. I realized that when the sun comes up the human is there to feed and play with me.
On my first night, I didn't have any toys. So, I was bored in my crate. On the second day, the human surprised me with two toys! She bought me a rope that I can toss and chew on. She says that this might help with my playful biting. And, she got me a newspaper squeaky toy. At first, I was scared to play with the squeaky toy. Then, I eased into it. I love the sound it makes! I told the human to buy me another squeaky toy, and she said she is. My favorite toy is the rope because I can chew on it all I want.
Instead of relieving myself in the crate, the human takes me outside to go. It's better that way. One thing I don't get is why she gets so excited when I potty. Yesterday when I went poopy, she clapped and got so excited. I don't get why that was a big deal. Weird!
Today, the human said she is going to start slowly introducing me to the other dog, Buster. The other day she was giving Buster and me rubs at the same time. Yesterday, Buster started ignoring me. I hear that this is her way of teaching me respect and manners. I can't wait until Buster warms up to me! We will has such great fun!
It's morning. The human likes to sleep a lot, so we take morning and afternoon naps. *Yawn* I am going to join her in sleeping.
