Toys!

The first few nights in my new house were strange and saddening for me. It was saddening because I still miss my mom and sister. I'm getting better with my crying at night. I realized that when the sun comes up the human is there to feed and play with me.

On my first night, I didn't have any toys. So, I was bored in my crate. On the second day, the human surprised me with two toys! She bought me a rope that I can toss and chew on. She says that this might help with my playful biting. And, she got me a newspaper squeaky toy. At first, I was scared to play with the squeaky toy. Then, I eased into it. I love the sound it makes! I told the human to buy me another squeaky toy, and she said she is. My favorite toy is the rope because I can chew on it all I want.

Instead of relieving myself in the crate, the human takes me outside to go. It's better that way. One thing I don't get is why she gets so excited when I potty. Yesterday when I went poopy, she clapped and got so excited. I don't get why that was a big deal. Weird!

Today, the human said she is going to start slowly introducing me to the other dog, Buster. The other day she was giving Buster and me rubs at the same time. Yesterday, Buster started ignoring me. I hear that this is her way of teaching me respect and manners. I can't wait until Buster warms up to me! We will has such great fun!

It's morning. The human likes to sleep a lot, so we take morning and afternoon naps. *Yawn* I am going to join her in sleeping.

Those humans are kinda weird. They get real excited about poopies outside but not the inside kind. Glad you've got some toys to play with - they're the best!
