Buddy's Beat
I was a bad boy!December 18th 2012 5:45 am[ Leave A Comment | 8 people already have ]
Yesterday mom and I are out for an afternoon walk. Suddenly a snowshoe hare jumps on the trail in front of me and I start chasing it. After a short ways, it stops, I stop, and we both look at each other. Then we are off again. Let's just say I ran far. In fact I ran across a big snowy field right up to the neighbor's fence line! That fence line is well over 1/2 mile away from where I started chasing the hare. I probably would have kept going had a big snow drift not bogged me down. Mom was not impressed when she finally caught up to me!

It's a good chase but you have to know when to give up. Oopsie Buddy! It has happen to most of us at one time or another..... A rabbit is big temptation! Mazy hangs her head...I've had no bunnies for a year now....coyotes ate them all! Merry Christmas,Mazy Oh! I used to do that running away thing a lot! But I would run to exhaustion, and then find a resting pawlace under something to make it harder to get me...or some delectable poopie pile would beckon to me...Your Mom had it easy, BOL! Now don't do that anymore, OK?? Though I fur one do admit it is fun to chase a hare or some other varmint! Yikes, Buddy!! I r BERY jellous ob da fak dat yu hab wotza snows. Oh Buddy.. live and learn sweet Boy... we all do ! I like chasing bunnies, but I are always on leash so I can't really chase em good. BOL Buddy, I would have loved to seen that. Poor Mumma - bet she was all out of breath. Sieglinde used to run away but she would wait for Mum to almost catch up, then run again. She stopped when Mum realized it was all a game and stopped playing it. |
