September 29,2012 People

Well so now we have groups of people walking through the house, measuring ceilings, and poking walls. Because I am a Chihuahua, I have to let EVERYONE know that there is someone unusual lurking around the house. Mom says she is going to have to board me somewhere when they put on a roof, because I will have a barking stroke. I don't think so, that is my JOB..... even if I am the only that thinks it should be my job.

September 25, 2012 CRASH IN THE NIGHT

This morning at 3 am we were all snoozing peacefully, Mario in the kitchen and me in my bed in the living room, when we heard a GIANT crash. My Mom jumped up and I could see her switching on the lights outside to see if a tree fell on the house, and then going upstairs and opening all the doors. The CEILING fell down in the small upstairs bedroom. It was all over the floor and there was plaster lying in big chunks on top of my Mom's French Bulldog figurine collection. I could hear her say "Well, that's something you don't see every day".. Then she shut off the light and I could hear her laughing. She says all she could do was laugh, because it was just one more problem on top of a pile of problems. None of the Frenchie figurines got broken, and none of us dogs even made a peep when we heard the crash. Even I just kept sleeping and I am a noisy chihuahua. Guess we are all pretty used to loud noises, or we don't care if the sky is falling. Mom is still laughing.

YAR.... or Ahoy.... or how ever a pirate talks. Happy Talk Like A Pirate Day.... Thanks from Kiwi, and me for all the Pirate Flags from our Dogster friends. I know Pippi is chuckling to herself too.
We spent the day waiting in a parking lot. At least I got to go to, so I had my lunch in the car and walked up and down the sidewalks. Poor Frenchies didn't get out too much today, they missed a beautiful day. I hope tomorrow we can all play around in the grass outside in the yard.

Hi Dogsters: It has been a long time since I wrote, but one bad thing after another has been happening around here, and to top everything off now it is getting to be chilly chihuahua weather. I am still here, and doing fine. Mom might maybe be able to get it together enough to make me a halloween costume.

August 22,2012

Not too much going on around here today. Mom had to do all kinds of errands that involved her going into stores and she didn't want to leave me in the car, so I stayed home today. She was later than usual getting home this afternoon, so MY LUNCH WAS LATE.... Bad thing. I do not like my food to be late.
This weekend we had fun. We went out and explored with one of my Frenchie friends. We drove to a grooming place opening and I had a little bite of a hot dog. The rest went to Mr. Frenchie.
Then we went to a giant field auction and I got to walk all up and down the rows. We looked at all kinds of auction stuff, and I jumped over the rows of dishes and books. Had a pretty good time. I still get nervous when people reach down to pat me, but I am doing pretty good. After all Mom, I am still a baby. Time for bed, good night now.

August 14, 2012 My Nickname

I am getting pretty good at living up to my nickname "Pickpocket". I shove my little pointy nose down in anyone's pocket, I am getting fast at it, and grab what ever paper towel or tissue is in there. This afternoon I got a paper towel from Mom and raced as fast as I could go all over the back yard. Mom says she would like to get a picture of me scooting off with a white paper as big as I am, but she is too busy picking up the thousands of pieces to go and get her camera.

My Mom is really sad today. Her favorite dog Simon passed away on Friday. Simon was my friend too. Mom is being really quiet, I hope she starts throwing my toy lion for me more. She better........she bought me a new toy lion because my first one was really getting worn out. This one has beans in it so I can shake it and wack myself in the head. Lots of fun.

I am jealous, Kiwi was THE Dogster of the Day today. No one else in my family was ever that. My mom was kind of upset today because she spent the afternoon at the vet with Simon. He has something wrong with his one good eye, and now he has to go to an optomatrist too. He only has one good one left, she hopes the vet's can fix him up.
Meanwhile I am still running and playing and chewing on bones, and being a good girl about not barking when I am in my crate. Mom promised me a trip out somewhere today, but Simon went out instead. I hope I can go tomorrow.
I must be getting a little bigger. My Mom used to be able to just get her thumb and forefinger around my neck, now my neck is a little too big for that. I am growing..... she hopes not too much.

August 6,2012 Trip to vet

Hi everybody. Hey, I see my little tab to make Dogster Pals has shown up on my page again. It was missing for quite a while, now maybe I can make some more nice Dogster Friends.
Today was a great day, and it's only lunch time. Mom headed out to do some shopping, and I went in my crate. In a short time she was back again and picked me up out of my crate. I got to go TOO !!... I was pretty happy about that. Little did I know that I was heading to the Vet for my last Booster shot. That really wasn't too bad because the people there are very nice. They always tap my nose when I am getting a shot, then I am so busy looking at them tapping my nose, I don't pay any attention to the shot.... (that's an old trick of Mom's from her years of having puppies and dogs)...
After that I got to go and walk around in McDonald's parking lot. I LOVED that. Then I got to go to Petco, where I met some nice people. I was a little scared of the people reaching for me, but I did love to trot around the store, way out on the lead, like a show dog. (Ha Ha). Then I got to wait in the car while Mom ducked into Walmart quick. It's ok I had someone in the car watching out for me.
Then home, lunch and now it's time for a little dog nap.....

August 3, 2012 Hot Day.....

It's a pretty hot one out there today. Not too bad for me, but one of those (seems like every day in the summer) too hot days from Frenchies. I didn't do too much today. I didn't get to go in the car, but Mom was saying something about a town fun day tomorrow, so I am hoping I get to go there. I hope it doesn't rain (I do not like the rain).
I have to go in for my last booster shot soon, I am not sure I like the vet, and I don't think a booster shot is going to make me like them more. But Mom is doing her best to fool me into thinking all these trips are fun....... Hmmmm. I don't know......
