Yesterday I took Kaija with me to my Master Gardener work day. I attached her with a long lead to a post on a large patio below the four foot retaining wall that supports our garden. Then I jumped up the retaining wall to work and Kaija immediately followed.

I forgot Kaija as a worked and noted a little cottontail frequently running through the garden. I looked over at Kaija and she was meandering through the garden. Then, I saw that Kaija was eating something. Disgusting, I thought, probably cat poop again... I pulled her back to the patio; but she immediately hopped the wall and stuck her face down a hole. Suddenly, I heard squeals from inside the hole.

Oh! Naughty Kaija!! Here Mommy thought there was nothing more disgusting than puppies eating cat poop... But, no, Kaija was eating baby bunnies from the bunny hole!
