Arrival Story:
I had wanted a husky for several years. After researching the breed I finally decided I was ready to bring one into my home. One day I saw an ad in the paper about two, three-month old huskies. I decided I would just go look at them. After all, there's nothing cuter than fluffy husky pups. The next day I dragged my friend with me to go see them. Needless to say, we both came back with puppies in our arms.
Bio:
Ciara shares her home with her "big sis", Dusty, and two cats, Spice and Meg. Ciara is a very smart dog. You can see the wheels spinning in her head thinking of ways to outsmart me. Like many huskies, she is quite the talker, especially when someone calls her a pretty girl. Tricks she has learned are: sit, speak, howl, sneak across the floor, sit up, roll over and shake. All-in-all, answering the newspaper ad almost two years ago was just about the best thing I ever did. Not a day goes by that Ciara doesn't have me laughing to the point of tears because of her crazy antics. I can now safely say I suffer from the potatoe chip syndrome, however, my next huskies are all going to be rescues. Every dog deserves a second chance.
