A vehicle pulled up out front. Hmmmmm. Dad went downstairs and mom stayed up with me and Darcy. Darcy was scared. Hmmmm. Then I heard voices. Lots of voices. Hmmmm. Dad came up later and said it was alright to go visit. So mom took me downstairs and there were three men. I was a little hesitant to meet them, but they were friendly. One man had plastic bags in his hands and I growled. Then he sat down. I was still nervous about him. Mom went over and sat next to him. Well of course I go where mom goes. Finally I realized he was nice also! One guy I really liked, I even licked his nose! They were only here for a night but will be back on Sunday.. And there is supposed to be more (5-6) of them. Can't wait, I love it when people come to visit me!

Today, me and Darcy got baths. Mom said we were both filthy. Not like we've been playing in the dirt or anything. Well Darcy got her bath first. Mom dried her off and put on her sweatshirt. She likes to hang outside and it was cold out.

Then I got my bath. Dad had his chair and the red bowl with the cookies in it. I love baths, I get cookies! Mom washed me in no time flat - it was really too short. There were cookies left in the bowl! Hmpf!

Later mom and dad were burning stuff out front and me and Darcy were playing like crazy! Good thing mom put on her sweatshirt because I was all over her!! When mom and dad came in mom noticed I had a red spot on the side of my mouth. Upon closer inspection she saw the hole next to the scratch. Guess Darcy checked me when I was getting to rough, mom said. Oh well! It was fun anyway!

watch out for those hunters....seems everyone is getting baths around here.

When Mom takes me out during hunting season she always tries to put some kind of bright orange on me so the hunters can tell I am a dog and not some other kind of animal. She worries because, I am so big and hairy, that they won't check me out correctly and accidentally shoot me.

Glad you and Darcy had fun. Monty sometimes puts me in check too when I get too rough. It must be funny to watch a 50 lb Monty put a 125 lb me in check but, he does it like a pro.
