Arrival Story:
Lizzie and Rascal were surrendered to a kill shelter because the owner was having ""personal problems." She demanded they be placed together since they have been together their whole lives. It look bleak for them since no one wanted two dogs at once. But since I already have both a dachshund and a chihuahua, I couldn't let them be euthanized. Read more about them if you are interested. They should have ahome of their own where they are the center of attention!

Lizzie and Rascal stayed with friends of their foster Mom for a few days while she was away. Long story short, we discovered that these two do even better APART, and Rascal really loved the home he stayed in. There are 4 humans to fuss over him, and most are home all day! So, he has been adopted by them, and is VERY happy. We see him often too. Lizzie's foster Mom has adopted her, and she is VERY happy, with a little male dachshund and female chihuahua who live there too. A great ending for both!
