Nice walk

Yesterday when mom got home from work she took Chloe and I for a nice walk. I think we went like 1.5 miles. I had no trouble keeping up, but Chloe started to lag a little towards the end. I circled around once in a while to be sure she was doing okay, plus, mom slowed down for her too. My only problem with the walk was that mom would not let me go into the yards to potty. I REALLY had to go and tried several times to go in a yard, but everytime mom would tell me no. I finally couldn't hold it anymore so I went on the street. What do you know, that made mom really happy and she hugged me and told me I was a good girl. Huh, I guess that's what mom wanted all along. Glad I know that now and I won't hesitate next time.

When we got back to the house, Grandma and Aunt Lois came to watch a movie with mom. I was happy to see them both. Us doggies watched the movie with them, but it was a scary one. It made me jump a few times and it even made mom and Grandma jump which is really rare. I did get in trouble though when daddy came home. We were out going potty and we ran out into the street after his truck. Mom called us and Chloe went back, but I didn't. I kept running behind his truck when he was trying to back up the driveway. Needless to say I got in trouble for that. I know it's dangerous and I should wait at the top, but I was just excited to see him. I did hear dad tell mom that he's going to get a shock collar if we don't listen and stay out of the street and out from behind the vehicles. Yikes, I better listen and fast!
