Green Tripe

A few weeks ago my woman left and came back with a 5-lb. bag of ground frozen green tripe. I don't eat ground meat but she said this was OK since I'd just be getting a little mixed in with my joint supplements.

Anyway, she let me sniff it and it smelled so good that I knocked it out of her hands, the top of the bag opened and I started munching on it with my grooming teeth.

I got to eat on it for awhile too! Then my woman took it into the kitchen and started bagging up little portions of it.

She said she got it from the co-op because she could order it by the bag instead of having to get 25, 40 or 50 lbs. of it.
I like the co-op. So far I've gotten elk meat, deer meat, lamb kidney, lamb liver, calf ribs, lamb ribs, lamb shoulder roasts and tripe from them. Everything except the calf ribs and tripe is stuff my people can eat too. But they would ruin everything by cooking it!!!!!

Beach Trip!

My people surprised me Friday by telling me we were going to go to the beach for the whole weekend!

We stayed in a house and spent hours and hours on the sand!!!!

Vet Visit

I went to the vet yesterday. I was very excited to go for a ride and I was very excited to go in and say hi. I was not excited to go into the exam room and I made my escape while everyone tried to get me into the back.

I saw the vet I saw in December. That visit she looked at a bump on my hip and stuck a needle in it to see what was in it.

I liked her and my people really liked her because she didn't care about my prey model raw diet and thought it was "brilliant" that my people had me "titered" instead of jabbing me with a needle last year.

I liked her this year too. The vet called be gorgeous, said I was at a fantastic weight, my ears were wonderfully clean, and my teeth looked very good. She also called me "Chaunce", my people say it's because she's British!!! I think it makes me sound fancy when she says my name like that.

I was there yesterday for something called "junior wellness."
Not sure what that is but they stuck a needle attached to a tube in me and stole my blood! They also took some of my poop which I think is gross. People are so weird!!

Almost Dogmas!

It's almost Dogmas. I put up colored lights and a tree (in the house!) and have buried stuff under the tree!!!!!!

I got my 1st gifts too. The women who give me massages gave me a squeaky flea and a hedgehog I can eat after my massage yesterday! I buried the hedgehog in the house and have been grooming the squeaky flea.

I went to the vet last week because my woman found a lump on my leg. The vet was really nice and she stuck a needle in the lump. We waited a while and the nice vet came back out and said there was nothing bad in what came out. My people check it every day.
This has been my healthiest year ever. I've only been to the vet for my annual exam and to have the lump looked at!

7 Months Raw Fed, Massages & Back In Rehab

I've been 100% full-time raw for 7 months now! I love my food!!!

I've gotten 2 professional massages from Rubi and have a 3rd one scheduled with a different person. Rubi set it up because she's going to be in Utah at some place called Best Friends Animal Society.
I love getting massages. It helps too that I LOVE Rubi!!!

Wednesday I went back to vet rehab. I only had 2 issues to work on and I go back in a few weeks for a recheck. My people think I had no real issues because they took me to a chiropractor.

Beach Bum

I'm going to be a beach bum for Halloween.

My woman wanted me to either be "The Piddler," like Batman's "The Riddler" but with peeing dogs instead of question marks on the costume, or my superhero persona "Farty Puppy." Farty Puppy prevents crime using noxious fumes.
But I won't wear anything on my head and my woman said both of those costumes would require a mask to protect my identity.

Raw Food, Friends, Labor Day, Back Doctor

I've been raw fed for over 6 months now. Still doing really good and my woman is finding good deals on food for me. She even found pig brain and spleen for me to try.
I'm eating beef, pork, chicken, lamb, rabbit, turkey, salmon, kidney and liver.

My friend Faith stayed with me last Saturday while her people moved out of the house they were renting into a house they bought. We had a good time and played a lot. I even let her sleep on my bed with me. I usually eat the face of any dog that tries to get up on my bed!
She moved from just down the street to a few blocks away so we'll still be able to play together.

I was busy over Labor Day and helped my people do a LOT of stuff.

My people think I may have done something to my back over Labor Day because I started doing the stuff I did when my friend Maxi hurt my back last year.
I was in pain last week and my woman tried to get me in to see the rehab vet. But she was booked until October 3.
I was feeling better so we walked down to talk to a friend to get the number of the back doctor they use for their dogs.
My woman called him and he said he could see me on Wednesday. He's an hour away.
The Monday after that a woman is going to come massage me!

Montana Trip, Friends & House Guests

At the end of June, my people took me back to Montana for vacation! I was gone for 17 days and stayed in a house in the mountains! I saw moose and deer and antelope and chipmunks and bunnies! I got to explore places I had never been, saw old friends and played in snow and swam a lot!
I drove through a CATTLE DRIVE - best. day. ever!!!!!!!!!!!

After we got home, I got to help take care of my BFF and his roommate. Their people went out of town and needed someone to keep them company for 1 night. I was hoping they could spend the night at my house but my BFF got scared after being away from home for not even 2 hours!

Then after that the people named "Mom" and "Dad" came to stay with us again. They sleep in my room! I like them because they let me give them lots of kisses!!!
