Arrival Story:
Ever since I can remember, I've loved dogs. Unfortunately, I was also born with terrible allergies. Not wanting this to be the deterrent of me owning one, I began to do research on hypoallergenic, bigger breeds of dogs (always had a bit of a phobia of smaller dogs) while I was in college and fell in love with the teddy bear-looking, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Living in New York City and then London after school, I knew I didn't have the time or space to give a pup a good home. Now, nearly seven years after I found this perfect breed, I have Griffin! He was given to me on our wedding day by my other best friend and husband, Mitch. When I opened my wedding gift the morning of our wedding day and saw the framed picture of Mitch holding Griffin, I immediately burst into tears. Like most puppies, he's a handful, but he's the perfect addition to our new family and new home in Ann Arbor...
