TROCAIR WAS HIT AND KILLED BY A CAR ON SEPT. 22, 2011. SHE AND HER BROTHER, RIO, DECIDED TO GO ON AN "ADVENTURE" WHEN THEY WERE LET OUT FOR THEIR MORNING CONSTITUTIONAL, AND IN A CRAZY SHORT TIME ENDED UP OVER 2 MILES AWAY. WE WERE FRANTICALLY LOOKING FOR THEM WHEN WE WERE NOTIFIED BY A SHERIFF'S UNIT THAT HE HAD FOUND HER HIT UP ON THE HIGHWAY. RIO MUST HAVE RUN STRAIGHT BACK HOME WHEN THAT HAPPENED, AND HE WAS THERE WAITING WHEN WE GOT BACK.
