Dear Diary...I am Jonny. I am a little over a year old and I live in the mountains with mommy, daddy and my best friend, Frankie. I came from a different town where there were lots of other dogs. They were little but bigger than me. I am a "Miniature Dachshund" and the other guys were called "Poodles." You could say there were Oodles of Poodles there. But, my doggie mom and dad were there too. So were my sisters. One day a nice lady and her husband came to my town and got me and took me to another place in the mountains. It is cold here but I like it. There is a lot of white stuff out in our play yard right now and it is cold and wet. It sure is fun to jump into and bark at. I hope it is there all the time. (but mommy says it will go away soon...hmmm) My friend Frankie and I had puppies last summer. It sure was fun being a daddy. We might do that again, I don't know. Mommy says that I am fixed now. I don't think I was broken, never felt like it. Sometimes I don't understand everything she says to me.
I need to go eat my lunch now. Then it's time for a nap. Then Frankie and I have a play date with our friend next door. We are going to help her child make something called a "snowman." I can't wait. I hope I don't make a mistake and piddle on it like I did once before. I sure was embarassed!
