Sierra has a new home.

On Aug. 31 Sierra was returned to us. Her dad has had a serious health problem that makes it impossible to care for her as she deserves.

Sierra came back to us and was very happy. She slept in our bed and played with her friends here. She was happy and good as always. I looked for just the right person for her and have found her. A single woman who is not only understanding of Dachshunds but has lots of time to spend with sierra. She will be going to work with her mom and have a bed in her office to nap in. I think this is just what Sierra needs. I am so happy for her. Her mom and I spoke today and Sierra has already bonded with her. Her mommy loves her!

Kisses

I got kisses from Sierra today. Her dad brought her by to say hello while I was out doing a fundraiser. She looks good. She was shy and I guee all the people and noises were strange so she kind of huddled close to me. It was awesome to hold her and just touch her. I really miss that little gir. She is so pretty and so very sweet.

I have a home of my own.

Today I moved into the house with my new daddy and my new brother. Red is a friend of mine but now he is my brother. His daddy is my daddy too now. I am going to love this. My new Dad is awesome and he likes me a lot already. I will have Red to play with and my Dad will take me for walks every day. This is going to be such a fun life.

10 more days!

Just 10 more days until I go to live in my new home. Red is very lonely so my new Dad is going to let him come stay here at my foster home until I can move in with them. That will be nice. Mom says I am going to share a big crate with him at night so we can get used to being together to sleep. Sounds OK to me. I wonder when he is comming?

I am going to get well.

Mom and Dad took me to the vet last Tue. 4/13 and again 4/14. I had to spend the day both days. I was scared and I wanted to come home. I got a shot each day. The shots are to kill the nasty old heart worms inside my heart. I am feeling OK but Mom says I have to stay very still and quiet for 4 weeks! She says I will get a new forever home after that and my new people will keep me forever. I sure hope so.

I'm normal

I'm all normal again. The wasp bite is all gone and daddy says I am as beautiful as ever. hehehe He is so funny. It was kind of nice being treated extra special. Mom and Dad carried me around and I even got to sleep in the people bed! Boy that was nice. I like that a lot. I'm all well now so I guess it's back to being one of the gang. That's fun too.

I'm all well

My fat lip went down and I feel just fine. Like nothing even happened. I am not going to try to be friends with a wasp again though. I had a good day. I stayed out in the sun with my friends and came in and out to check just to make sure the house was OK. I'm ready for bed now.

A wasp bit me.

That was not very nice. I just wanted to see him up close. I wanted to see his little wings move and to see if he wanted to be my friend. Real quick he turned and bit me. Them BOOM my face puffed up real big! It felt funny but it didn'r really hurt. I went inside to see what mom was doing and she went into a Pnaic! She yelled for daddy to get us to my vet asap. Off we went before I even knew what was going on. She called my doctor before we got down the street and told them it was an emergency. When we got there everyone laughed and laughed. They said I look like a Beagle. A BEAGLE! Can you imagine? Mom was upset but she and dad laughed too. I just looked at them like they were nuts. The doctor came in and gave me 2 shots. My poor face started to go back to normal and it's almost perfect now. What a day. I'm never gonna try to make friends with a wasp again. NEVER! They are not nice.

Diary Pick

I was Diary pick now it's my friend Sammy's turn. woof woof! Mommy says that homeless dogs are speciasl to Doster's team just like the lucky ones who have families of their own. She says when we get adopted and have all the love and care all pets should have, we still get to be on Dogster! That's awesome. I am going to have heart worm treatment soon. I hope that's not so bad. Mommy will take care of me I know. I hope it's not so bad.

I have a new friend.

We have a new friend! His name is Sammy and he is very sweet. Mom says he is my brother now and I really like him. He is kind of scared but that's OK caues I was scared when I first came here too. He likes us all and he snuggles with me and Molly when we take our naps. He is not so cute right now cause he is sick. Mom says he has mange but it is not catching so we should play with him. She said the doctor dipped him. ?HUMMMM Not sure what that means but Mom says it will make him well and he will get the missing hair back and be real cute. I don't care about that cause he's my friend. In fact Sammy is my new brother.
