Arrival Story:
The beautiful Princess Fiona spent 2 longs months in a rural Kentucky shelter before traveling North to start her new life. She appears to be a Flat coated Retriever or maybe a Spaniel mix. She is between 1 and 2 years old and 40 lbs. She was a stray so we do not know much about her life before she came to us. She has been very happy in her foster home playing with all the dogs and she will even run around playing by herself with a toy. (Check out the video!)

Bio:
Fiona is a friendly dog with a lot of energy and we would really like to find her a home where she has a doggie playmate. We also would prefer someone to be home a lot with her. We do not think she would do well if left alone all day every day because she is still young enough to be inquisitive. A fenced yard is needed for her (or invisible fence) because she really loves to RUN. She has come a long way on housebreaking. She had some accidents but that can be chalked up to her time in the shelter and making a transition to a new home. Fiona is crated when we go out and to sleep at night. Otherwise, she has full run of the house. She spends most of her time playing with Jackman. Fiona is spayed and up to date on all her shots as well as heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative.
