...and couldn't be happier!
We plan to adopt Ernie from the Humane Society Calumet Area in Munster Indiana this month. Ernie was born in Wisconsin, and for the first 3 years of his life was kept tied up 24/7 on a slab of concrete outside of an Auto Repair Garage in Milwaukee. Ernie was fed cat food, and is extremely malnourished. His owner thought they could turn Ernie into a guard dog. A Golden Retriever guard dog? NOT!
A friend of one of the adoption counselors (Michelle) at HSCA saw Ernie tied outside the Garage and asked the owner about him. The owner just gave Ernie away to Michelle's friend, who then brought Ernie to Michelle & the HSCA. Michelle knew we were 2 time adopters from HSCA and that we had begun looking for a Golden, so she called us! Wooooo Hooooo Arrrooo!!!!!!
The pics are just simple tear making.... !!!
