We had almost two weeks off work and Sienna got spoiled with someone always around. She got to go for lots of rides and spent lots of time rough housing with her cousin, Jackson.
She got spoiled at Christmas too. Lots of bones and toys, it's almost like she needs her own bedroom as her toybox is overflowing.
We've been taking her running daily and she loves it. Even when we try to walk she still wants to run...and run fast. We're up to about a mile now. There is a nice mountain/park area next to my house and we take her there and let her off the leash. I didn't think she'd be much of a hunting dog but she chased the quail and we were worried about her coming back because she was so excited about it.
Yesterday she met a 4 month old boxer which is the smallest dog she's played with and she rolled her a few times, played pretty rough but loved every second of it. When I tried to walk her home she kept laying down on the sidewalk...she was pretty tired.

I begin to wonder what SANTA would do this close to Christmas with a naughty dog....coal isn't going to work. Sienna will be 6 months old tomorrow and in the past week she's gone from me telling everyone how great she is and how she doesn't chew on anything that isn't hers to making a disaster of the house. Two days ago she opened a bag of Starbucks coffee beans and had the beans all over the floor along with chewing anything that's hard plastic. I wonder if she's bored with her toys? We picked up all of the mess and anything she could think about getting in to and I got word today (while I'm here at work) that she shredded boxes/paper...I guess she must be going through her juvenile phase...maybe?

She IS a good girl though...and we are really enjoying her. She picked up all of her tricks very fast but new tricks aren't coming so easy. She use to 'stay' forever and I could walk 1/4-mile away and she'd she gets up when she's sick of waiting. We're working on that one now too.

I sure hope she quits this chewing/shredding thing or Santa may be taking back her presents...
