Woof - Chase - Clunk - Yelp - Ouch:(

Oh, boy, I really scared growlmy the other night.
It was supper fur the peeps...and that also means its time fur me and my kitty brofurs to help the table gathering. We gather around to hopefurly snag a tidbit...and of course I always get my chewy then, too.
Well, Minko challenged me and so I got up and followed him to the kitchen...and then all of a sudden with a big woof, I chased him back into the dining room. Bad timing:(
I furgot that pawppy was still there...and as I tried to get at Minko, he squeezed through the chair legs, but of course since I was focused on him, I furgot to judge the space too well...and OMD, I crashed into the chair leg. I let out a loud yelp of pain, then I started to keye-yeye-yeye...really loudly, and I was standing there on 3 legs.
Growlmy was in a panic, because I have clunked into things before, but nefur yelped or cried like that. She thought I had truly done it this time.
So she made me lie down,, and tried to take a feel of the leg/paw, but I wouldn't let her, nor pawppy, I growled and snapped at him...oops!
So growlmy grabbed an ice pack, and I let that be on me fur a short while, then I got up and limped, but I was bearing weight. Phew!
Growlmy picked me up and put me into my soft doggy bed and I was there for a long while, not shaking or whining...and then I heard a noise outside and down I jumped...more oops, but I still ran outside, a little slower perhaps than is my normal...but growlmy could see that while I was sore, at least there was not anything terrible that was going on, just a big bruise...now she only sees a limp if I jump up from a long nap...She says I need to be more carefur so that I do not break anything...no kitty is worth me getting injured she said...BOL! Hey, I am a JRT...OK, growlmy, I promise to try to be a little more carefur, and maybe not chase my brofurs...remember I said maybe!
And through all of that, Minko & espawsially Pipo just sat there and smirked at my discomfiture...Grrr! I shall have to chase them...um...'what did you say, growlmy??'

So happy you are ok and what a harrowing experience for you! Just try to take it easy, yes I know that will be difficult, but you do need to lay off the chasing for a day or two. Hugs!

Thanks all of you for your healing thoughts and wishes, I am resting a lot because the weather is ...not nice...and growlmy went out for the day...so I am just about back to myself!
