Arrival Story:
I was thinking about getting a beagle, and had actually said that if I got a beagle I would like her to be named Lucy. The next day I looked at the local shelter's website and they had just gotten a beagle pup named Lucy, no joke! Well of course I had to go get her, so I called the shelter to make sure she was still there, then asked my supervisor if I could leave work to go get her. She said yes and I got an adorable little beagle.
Bio:
The story of how she got to the shelter, as we were told it is that a family had gotten her from the local pet shop to be a companion to their autistic child. Well she was just a pup then, she was only about 4 months when I got her, and she is a very active, bouncy beagle! So the child was pretty freaked out by little Lu and they brought Lucy to the shelter.
