Arrival Story:
My mother-in-law new a lady that had to move to another state for her job and had to give her litter of dogs. My husband and I decided we would take one, which would have been Abby's mother, Oreo. Well, to make a long story short, we ended up getting one of Oreo's daughter's named Abigail. She was the most adorable little 1 lb pup I have ever seen. When I got to my mother-in-laws, my 6 year old nephew could barely hold her without letting her slip through his arms. I bonded with the puppy, and she hasn't stopped following me around since.

Abby is now sleeping curled up in a donut on my lap while I type this. My mother-in-laws friend told us that Abby was a miracle because when she was born, they didn't think she was going to make it because of how tiny she is. She is a year and a half, and a whole 5 lbs, and the biggest ball of energy I have ever seen. She can literally go on for days and days at a time. She's well behaved, but needs working on her manners. She loves people and will lick your face off if giving the chance. My husband says she is a spoiled brat, and he couldn't be more right! She does not get a way with things though, she knows and understands when she has done something bad. She has a designated hiding spot she will run too when she realizes you know what she has done. She's a very good student. I have been able to teach her to sit down, shake hands, lie down, roll over, and high-five. I've tried teaching her how to sit up, but I don't think she has enough of a bottom to balance herself. lol She's very hyperactive, and most of the time, now that I think of it, doesn't have much sence of balance in the first place. Abby has knocked her head off of so many things, falling off things, missed jumping on to things, ran into so many differnt things, including my big coffee table and the bathroom door many times. To say the least, I have a 5 lb ball of energy that never has a dull moment! She is the best dog I could ever ask for!
