A Day In the Life of the Fizzy

Oh NO!

Momma just gave me bad news, pups. Tomorrow, her and Daddy go back to school permanently. Boooooooo. Now we can only snuggle in the mornings on the weekends! They won't have any more time off until Thanksgiving (November to my out-of-the-country pals).

Momma is VERY sad about this. She doesn't want to go back at ALL. She's still upset about the room switch, and she's feeling very anxious. Not quite "on the ceiling I need a bodka drip" kind of anxiety, but still anxious and unhappy. She has to sit in meetings with the people she doesn't like the most, and she's not looking forward to it. Poor Momma...she's trying hard not to be so sad and angry, but so far it hasn't worked. My tongue has been going into overdrive trying to help.

At least she has me, her little lightbulb, to come home to!!

Thanks pals. Snarky Schnauzers, Momma tries to think like that. You know, not many people only work 10 months outta the year. But then again, like Grammy always says, not many people do what Momma and Daddy do, either.

Momma says she really wants to be a stay at home dog mom, but Daddy says no. Boo. She'll retire in elebenty gajillion years... :(

Zaidie, mama said when she was a girl in school, she ALWAYS went to school after Labor Day in September and got out BEFORE Memorial Day in May. Now they go from Aug - June. So sad for the kids of today. :o(

Mama retired 5 years ago but had to do temp work for 4 years after that. Now she doesn't and she's home with us 24/7. We like it, especially when its hot or cold or rainy or windy, or daytime, or nightime, or..well we like her home all the time. BOL :o)

I shall add some long-tongued licks to yours, Fizzy...so that you can go and get a drink of water or something to eat...
Yeah, I used to hate it too when boss-boy would resume his school year...but at least he was still here at home evfurry night...now he is hardly evfur here at all!

Hugs to your pawrents, and esp your Momma, Fizzy...I hope that soon she will be bonded really well with the new kids she is given as charges to teach and mentor. Who knows maybe you will still be able to go and see them once in a while to be the 'show and tell pup'.

Woofs!

Fizzy, we'll be keeping your mom in our thoughts and prayers tomorrow and in the days to come. We know she'll do good whichever group of kids she'll have. They'll be so lucky to have each other. :o)

We are sorry that you will miss both your pawrents as they go back to work. This work thing is a rotten idea. Mum and Duncan's first Mom go to that work place every week. We think they should stay home with us.
We also hope that your Momma will adjust to her new kids and realize that they need her too. Sorry Fizzman but your Momma does important work so you have to share. At least you have weekends for morning snuggle time.

Good luck to your momma, Fizzy! And to you too! Just nap during the day, (it will fly by), and you will be WELL-RESTED and SUPER-HYPED-UP for when mom comes home! BOL!

Mom taught for 10 years, and she dreaded and had butterflies every first day of having to go back. It never seemed to get any easier.

But, before you all know it, you will be back in the routine:)

Does mom have her outfit planned out for tomorrow? LOL! I wish her good luck in having a wonderful class of students this year!

Hugs, Sunny and Mer

oh no.. Our thoughts are with your mom. Yes, you keep her going. The thought of you waiting at home and wagging your everything when she comes home, will make her do what she has to do and then return home to cuddle with you..
Love, Jojo and sonja
