It's been very adventureful over here today, pups, and the day is only half way over!
It started at 6:20 in the AM. I jumped down off the bed and went to the bedroom door and started whimpering. Well, Momma figured I had to go really bad to get her up that early on a Saturday, so she rolled outta bed and took me outside to go potty. I peepsed and poohed like normal, and then I started to eat grass. Momma says I looked like a sheep. BAAAAAA. She thought I might have to urka gurka, so she waited a little bit. I came back to the door, so she let me in, and we went back to bed. At 6:40 in the AM, I jumped down again. Momma made a noise at Daddy. He grunted back. Momma said a swear (that I can't repeat here) and got back up to let me out. Right away I urka gurkaed. Just the foamy kind, nothing big. But I started eating it, and Momma came running outside in her nightgown shouting "It's not a snack!!!" It's not?
We went back in, she gave me a little bit of water and kibble, and we went back to bed. I haven't urka gurkaed since, so she figures I musta just been hungry.
Daddy is away at his friend's house today, so it's just been me and Momma. Daddy cut the grass yesterday night (this is important to my story later). Not so-sick Grammy called and asked Momma if she could come over to help Grammy change the light bulbs in her garage. Since Momma had to go to the grocery store, too, she left me at home. Boo. Anyways, when Momma got back, she opened the door, and it reeked of gasoline!!! The whole house smelled AWFUL!
"OMD, Fizzy, are you ok???"
"Well, sure Momma. I could use a few treats, though."
She ran like a madwoman (as only a Momma can do) through the house, opening up all the windows. She ran down to the basement, and when she opened the door to the garage POW! She says the smell hit her like a ton of bricks. That musta hurt, Momma. Anyway, she opened the garage door and called Daddy. He said he filled up the lawn mower with gas yesterday, and some of the gas musta dripped down the nozzle on the gas can. Well that little bit of gas was enough to make the whole house smell!
So me and Momma spent a half an hour in the backyard while the house aired out. I got to explore (although she kept shooing me away from her garden) and she planted something called basil in a pot that she keeps in the window in the kitchen. That was fun! I like exploring in the backyard!! I didn't catch any bunnies this time, but Momma caught me sticking my schnooter in a chipmunk hole. She didn't stop me until I started digging it up. But even then she was kinda like "Oh....stop...." She sure must hate them chipmunks if she's gonna let me dig up their house! BOL!
The day's only half way over! I wonder what's gonna happen next?!

Holey Moley, Fizzy! What an exciting day you've had so far!!
And I must say: You are THE BEST story-teller!! I felt like I was right there with you as your day unfolded. Thank you for taking me away with you on your adventures, even if it was just for a little while. (I really needed that – I’ve been cooped up in this darn house for so long. I’m getting claustrophobic!)
Hugs, Sunny and Mer
Wellwoof, the basil plantin', bunny huntin' and diggin' sounds real good! Hope ya gets more of that! The urka gurka and the gasoline smellies lets hope there's no more of that!
