A Day In the Life of the Fizzy

Sad Day

It's a sad day here, pups. Grammy's hair started falling out, so Momma went over to her house and cut it all off. Grammy was crying a little bit, but Momma tried to cheer her up by talking about what it might look like when it grows back. Maybe she'll be a stunning red head or a bodacious blonde! I don't really know what those words mean, but Momma was sad when she came home. She hasn't leaked, though. She keeps reminding herself about those really good test results, and she says Grammy looked really cute in her turban.

Anyhow, if you pups and your peeps could take a few minutes and send some prayers or good vibes to Grammy, we'd sure appreciate it. We know she's feeling sad tonight. Thanks pals.

Yeah, its hard when that happens...but they really do have nice turbans, hats and scarves. Growlmy tried to have a nice hat to match all of her good outfits for when she was out of the house, and the same for turbans when she was home. She has a whole box full of them! Hope she doesn't evfur need them again!
Hugs & Kisses
Sending lots of hugs and good healing thoughts to your Grammy, Fizzy!

Growlmy can still keep all her 'head gear' in the box!
She got a good report today...doesn't need to go back for another 6 months!
Hope that when your Grammy is done with the chemo junk, that she will get good reports, too.
Pawyering for a great outcome.

When will the chemo be done, anyways? (Or at least, what is the plan...? Most seem to be about 4 - 6 months long.)

OH MJF!!! That's great news! I'm so happy for you and Growlmy!! Oh joy joy joy!! Do you see my schnauzie butt wiggling with happiness!!?!!?!

Momma estimated Grammy's chemo to be done February 21. That's IF all goes according to plan and she goes every 3 weeks on the nose. Her next round is this coming Monday, and Momma is going to go with her this time and stay with her. She felt real bad she couldn't go the first time.

I can see your comment! Did the flea stuff get to work! BOL!

Growlmy mostly had friends go with her to chemo.but they didn't stay! Some of her chemos went for 6 - 8 hours!
A couple of times Pawppy could get off work to go with her.
It sure is nice when there is someone there to be company and a support.
Feb 21...seems like a long ways off...but it will get here, those weeks just keep going by...faster than we want them to sometimes! Your Grammy will be finished just in time for the beautiful days of spring...and if all goes well, it will be like a new start for her, too!
