Arrival Story:
I adopted Yoshi from Anchorage Animal Care & Control in 14 years ago this month (October). They said he was just about one year old at the time, so that would make him 15 years old now. That's pretty old for a Setter.

Bio:
Yoshi is a good dog and has been guardian and companion to nearly 100 foster pups over the past 14 years (this includes a number of litters of puppies of up to 4 at a time). He has had a very good life giving back to his community. He is very old now but is still actively volunteering to be companion to rescues. The current rescue is an old, blind and deaf Lhasa Apso. She relies on Yoshi to keep her safe outside in our huge yard and to guide her back when it is time to come in. Yoshi is also a very good friend to cat Welhelmina (see picture of cat friend). Good dog, Yoshi!
