Arrival Story:
Wilbur showed up as a stray puppy at my family's get-together on Easter, 2009. He immediately settled in with me & slept most of the afternoon in an elevated flower bed. We brought him home & arranged with a local foster-adoption group to have him taken in by a foster home and eventually adopted out (we all ready had a home full of 4 other dogs!!). We met the foster lady at a grocery parking lot and sent Wilbur on his way. My wife sobbed all night ... so, the next day I called the foster home & told them I was coming to get Willie! He and his sister Beesley immediately fell for each other and have been best friends ever since!!!
