We's been outside with Mommy doing yard work. Mommy told us she's been feelin' a little sad lately cause she's been thinking of Rinky alot lately. It'll soon be 1 year since she went to the bridge. She been thinking alot of all our pals who have passed away recently and also those who are sick like Rusty & Puffy. It makes Mommy so sad. Anywho, the fact that our stray cat, Tommy Cat, hasn't been seen for several weeks now, doesn't help the situation. Tommy used to come by daily for his free hand-outs. Sometimes Mommy would feed him twice a day and for a while there he would lounge around in the yard all day. I heard Mommy tell him one day that he was welcome here anytime. "Tommy, as long as I'm around, I will always have a bowl of food for you sweet kitty." she told him. He would rub his head on her leg & meow something that Mommy swears was a, "Thank you Maam." Well he hasn't been seen & Mommy fears we may never see him again.
The saddest thing today was when our next door neighbor came over to let Mommy know that Tex, her dog, had passed away today. Mommy's eyes leaked. Tex was the dog that Mommy has been giving our jerky treats to. May she rest in peace.
Big hugs to your Mommy.
You and Ceeley give her some licks, too.
Aww, we're so sorry to hear this. Sending you loving hugs across the city. Tell your mom our mom is here for her any time!
P.S. We think about Rinky alot too, every time Austin has to sniff every little thing several times and wait awhile and sniff some more before eating it. Your mom said that's what Rinky used to do all the time too. :o)
Awhhh, thanks Austin. Rinky double & triple sniffed, then double & triple licked every treat before eating it! Drove me crazy! That's why sometimes I took her treat & scarfed it down myself!
Yep! That's what that boy does!! Sniff, sniff, sniff. ;o)
I'm so sorry, Ebby and Ebby's Momma.
Sending love and hugssss.
Its never easy.. but also try to remember the things that made you laugh. If we celebrate the life... then death cant win. There isnt a day I dont miss Cleo... and the others past.. but I thank the gods I had them.. the pain is the price for the love....
My mom still misses me. She won't take down my dogster page cuz there's my one & only video on it (mom doesn't have it anymore). It was shortly before I had to be put to sleep. Oh, she cried. When she watches the video, she still cries. BUT, she would never pass up her chance to be my mama, efun if it meant she wouldn't cry anymore. She luffed me and I was happy.
Ebby, we are sending big hugs to your momma. Some days are really really tough to get through but your momma has you and Ceely to help her and know that you love and take care of her.
Ebby, we are very sorry to hear about Tex but be glad that Tex got to savor some of your treats before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Tommy might be cat napped by someone who is giving him a wonderful home. Think positive that this is what happened to him.
In regards to Rusty he has a wonderful family who love him a lot and when he goes on his journey he will know that he left behind a family that did everything possible for him. Every dog should be as lucky as Rusty and Rinky were. Lots of dogs never find homes with humans to love and care for them. It took me almost five years to find my furever home and when I did I had lots of health problems that can not be overcome. Yes, I am ill but I love my family, even bossy ole Coco Rose and I will be happy with what ever amount of time I may have.
Hugs to you all!
Aww sorry Ebby. Give your Mommy a hug and a big slobbery kiss for me. The wetter the kiss the better at least that is what I tell my Mommy when I suck on her chin.
Tex is probably with another family right now. I know my Mommy has had stray kitties hang around for awhile and then all of sudden they go missing and then one day Mommy saw them at a little girls house with a collar on and everything. So think positive thoughts.
Rinky is looking down on all of you guys right now and every time you guys feel the wind just know that is her sniffing you guys. We all know you got to sniff the things you care about to keep their scents fresh in your mind.
Sorry your momma had a sad kinda day. I'm gonna send her some westie kissies so then she'll have to be happy, ok?
Thank you sweet friends for all you's kinds barks.
I'm sorry your mommy Ebby had a sad day! Sending her some big pei smooches and hugs from me! Woof Woof!!!!!!!
I need a hanky now. *Sniffs* Sorry fur your tuff day.
((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) for your Momma, Ebby. I think Tommy Cat found himself an inside home... seems he was pretty friendly so maybe someone decided to make a housecat out of him.
Sending lots of Westie kissies, cuz that's what I do until the girls giggle-- and I will not be stopped... I must get a giggle...
There, she should be feeling better now...
aww...we understand how you feel, and we think of Rinky everyday when we look at her picture.
Sending prayers for Tommy that he will return.
Much love and many hugs to our dear pals...
We love you even if you are far,far away and we hope that you feel that love coming from all your furriends. It will be ten years that Pistache got her ticket to Rainbow Bridge and mom still think about her all the time. Sending pups kisses...XOXOXO
Oh Ebby, I'm so sorry to hear about Tex.
It has been sad times. For us, we've been on Dogster for nearly three years and we've made great friends, pups and families just you. Well, it seems that building these bonds also leads to sadness when our pals make their journey to the Bridge.
What I do know, Ebby, is that Rinky and the others are all together because of the great friendships we've created. Together they watch over us.
I hope Tommy Cat does make his way back your way. If he has made his journey, I know Rinky was there to greet him.
I'm so sorry about all the sadness. I hope that the cat will return. We had a neighbor whose cat was missing for a year until one day she came back home.
Sorry your momma is sad, we look at Rinky's picture evfur day on our fridge!
Momma has been sad reading all these terrible stories on Dogster and online, momma almost cant handle it. She wishes the blog here only told of good stories cause momma always reads them and gets so sad!
Woof Woof, Scooter
So sorry for the sads at your house :( Maybe Tommy isn't fixed and he is off finding a mate, since it's spring time. Hugs and love to your Mommy.
Sending you all doodle kisses and hugs! Rinky is happy to have been so loved that she is thought of all the time.
We are so sorry to hear about your friend Tex.
Ebby and Ceeley...You just give your Momma extra snuggles and lovies.... We're so sorry to hear about your fur friend passing to the bridge. Tommy Cat may show up again...Kitties can be kinda fickle....We send extra kisses and lovies to you...

Wrinkles was a special pooch. I'm sure Ebony remembers and misses Rinky too.
Love your Easter photo with the bunny ears on Ebony. She must be a very laid back pooch to wear all the clothes and costumes and then pose so beautifully for photos. Do you specialize in animal photos? You certainly have the knack for it.
Hope all of you are doing well. Spring is starting to show her face here. Daffodils and crocuses are blooming but the temps have been running 10 to 20 degrees below normal for this time of year. Hope the yard work is going well.
We are so sorry Ebby. Sometimes outside kitties go away for many day's and then come back. We have one that does. He sleep's under the porch and in a shed. They have cat thing's to do. Your neighbor doggie Tex will alway's be in your mommy's heart. Just like Wrinkles will be. They were so lucky to be loved by you and your family. Some sweet dog's and cat's never love.
