I's So Awesome, I's Jealous of Me-self!
VIVA FIESTA!April 19th 2010 7:40 pm[ View A Comments (11) ] That's right everyone, it's Fiesta time in San Antonio! Fiesta is a 2 week event filled with different events & activities held thoughout the city. Many tourists come to San Antonio during this time. And the coolest thing is that there is a fiesta event just for us pooches & our peeps! It's called the Fiesta Pooch Parade & we have been attending it for years. Rinky used to go but not anymore cause she's old & slow & the three-mile parade route is just too much for her. Plus, she hates walking on a harness or leash. I REALLY wish Rinky could go cause we's goes everywhere together & I tends to get a bit scared & nervous 'round SOOOOO many dogs & humans. When Rinky used to go we'd have each others backs. We'd stick close to each other. Now it's just me & Mommy & Auntie & Ceeley & sometimes Paw-paw & Goose. Once we pooches starts marching I calm down. Last year, it was tough but I walked the whole 3 miles. I was sore for almost a week but I did it! Mommy said Doo & Austin's Mom (Miss LouAnn) might come join us! That would be so cool!
Wow, 3 miles! That is a long walk for short-legged pups! Maybe you can get one of those pet strollers and have your Mommy push you. Get a large size and Rinky can get pushed too. Is there food involved? That would be a great motivator to do all the walking. This sounds wonderful.. you know.. just maybe you could snag a really cheapy push chair.. nothing daftly spensive.. see lots around 6th hand.. hey tie ribbons on to !!! and then maybe Rinky could go too.. and you could snag a ride some of the way ?? San An is a bit much for us right now with me ( Pam) on one leg so to speak.. but we will be thinking of you and Miss LouAnn and Furs .. have a wonderful time . We do the Christmas parade and the Mardi Gras one up here in Norman. Have fun in the pooch parade! wow, I would love to come, too................. Really. Have fun! Cool that the Doos are coming! Enjoy you marathon walker ;o) Woofs, Jojo and sonja forgot - take pictures!! Do you get dressed up? If you take a doggy stroller or wagon, you could decorate that. I Woofs! walk about 2 miles every day, in the coolness of early morning, so if I was there, I could march, too... How cool is that Ebbers! I so wish I could be there to see you marching! And Aunty Pam's pusher idea is GREAT! That sounds like a very cool idea so you could both go! xoxoxoxoxo Wow Ebby ..that sound s like fun. Well be looking for the pictures of you , Ceeley and maybe Goose. Have lots of fun..!! Ooooo. This sounds so cool! Have fun, twin! Sounds like a great time Ebby!! Wish we lived closer 'cos we would walk in it with you and be sure your back was covered. Have fun and don't forget the pics! If we lived there, all of us would be walkin' it with you.
