Well we are back from the 'weternarian. We all got up early cause Rinky's 'pointment was a 8 am. Last night Mommy bought Rinky a jar of human pup food (baby food). It was a jar of turkey, peas & carrots. I begged for Mommy to let me have a taste (I wanted to taste it to make sure it was safe for Rinky's tum-tum). Mommy let me have a spoonful & I thought it tasted delicious. Mommy also gave both of us a little bowl of warm homemade moo-beast broth with some spoonfuls of pure pumpkin mixed in to help ease Rinky's tum-tum. Mommy thinks all this may have worked cause Rinky didn't have any 'splotions this morning.

Anywho, we got to the 'weternarian's office & I waited in the car while Rinky reluctantly went inside with Mommy. I waited & waited & finally Mommy came out but without Rinky! " Hey, you forgot Wrinkles!" I barked. Not to worry Mommy said, "They are gonna run some tests & we'll be back in an hour to pick her up." I was gonna offer to stay with Rinky to keep her company but then I remembered Rinky's words to me "Ebby, NEVER EVER voluntarily walk into a 'weternarian's office!" So I 'cided to keep quiet. In order to kill time, Mommy & me went to a nearby park to spend some quality 'Ebby-Mommy time.' That was nice. Then Mommy went & bought herself a 'samich & even let me have a little piece! Anywho, after we each ate our 'samich, it was time to go get Wrinkles.

Mommy went in & again I waited & Waited & WAITED! I barked at many different dogs that went in & out. A labby, a bloodhound, a irish setter, a kerry blue, a yorkie, a bulldog pup, two other mix breed dogs & a cat! Finally Mommy comes out holding more pillsys & a bag of kibble (hmm...wonder what it tastes like)! "HEY, where's Rinky?! You forgot Rinky!" I barked. Then I saw another woman carrying Wrinkles! "PUT HER DOWN!" I barked. "Mom, Wrinkles is being stolen!"
"It's okay Ebby, she's just helping me with Wrinkles." said Mommy. The woman put Wrinkles in the car next to me & closed the door. I sniffed Rinky all over & wondered if she was okay. Mommy said Rinky was gonna be fine.
"What they do to you in there Rinky?" I asked.
"I don't wanna bark 'bout right now," she said & laid down. Poor Rinky! I left her alone & didn't bother her on the way home. When she feels better she'll bark about it in her diary. Don't worry pups, Rinky will be okay. Thanks for all your pawryers!

Oh Ebby you're such a good sisfur! Keeping an eye on Rinky...that's good of you.
We'll keep praying for Rinky to get better.

Glad to hear that Rinky is going to be o.k. We're so relieved. We know your mama was worried...that's how them mamas are. Sending get well wishes to Rinky!!

Sounds as if the news is good.. well at least better as Rinky hasnt been icky again.

Hi Ebony! That is so good Wrinklies is doing better and not have any explotions when she had eaten her food. We are still keeping our paws crossed. You are so sweet keeping an eye on Wrinklies and wanting to keep her company.

i'm glad you set that dognapping lady straight!
too bad you were stuck in the car and didn't get to walk around the wet's parking lot..i always insist because its poop central! all you can eat schmorgisbord! :p
i guess lots of dogs s'plode when they see where they've been chauffered?
i wish i had a loyal sisfur like you; i hate being an only dog. :(
