Mommy's off today so I can finally put her work telling you about my past weekend! It all began with a call from Paw-Paw Friday night telling her that he had 'smore fresh meat for us.
"LETS GO, LETS GO, LET GO!!!" I said to Mommy with my beady eyes as big as saucers! But no go...she insisted it was late & we'd leave in the morning.
My beady eyes continued pleading-"Well why don't I get a head start while you sleep! I'll take the paved path ( Hwy. 281) north & should be at the ranch by morning! Trust me I know the way! Please Mommy... PLEASE!!!"
"Ebby you are NOT walking to Blanco!" she said, "We will leave in the morning & that's that!" So not fair! Why can't I walk to Paw-paw's?! She can be so unreasonable at times!
The following morning she packed us into the Jeep & off we when! We were greeted by Gracie the cat & my pal Goose (Jasper) at the door. Our beloved Paw-Paw treated Rinky & me to some venison beast sausage! I LOVE that human man! He picked me up and said in spanish, "How's my over-stuffed sausage (refering to me) doing!" I gave him a big lick on the neck. Goose got jealous & started whining & scratching at his pants so he had to put me down. He opened the door to the fridge box & showed Mommy 3 big ziplock bags of bright red meat & told her those were Rinky, me & the cats (dang them fur-balls!) We all thought it was more venison beast but NOOOO! Paw-Paw told Mommy it was Moo-beast meat! 'Parently, a Moo-beast bull had broken it's leg & had to be put down. Have any of ya'll ever seen the size of a Moo-beast bull?! They are HUGE! Paw-Paw said a man came for the Moo-beast meat but not before Paw-paw saved part of the meat for us! You see why I love him Soooo much?!
Today Mommy is going to cook some Moo-beast for us! Okay that's enough typing Mommy, go to the kitchen & cook us some Moo-beast! I'll help you!
Hmm, we're running VERY low on dog food and mom's debating if she wants to get dressed, go out in the cold, go to the store, get out in the cold again, and get us some. I think mom might need to go see what's in her freezer...she might have some moo-beast that NEEDS to be cooked and she can give us that!! Great idea Ebby! Thanks......
Bull Moo Beast!!! I am so drooling right now and jealous of you!
Eat hearty mi amiga.
Plus some of those bull moo beasts is down right mean. They could chase us doggies and get us.
You are getting some revenge, somehow or other.
Oh I don't Zoe, I still feel I could bring down a Moo beast if only Mommy would let me!
BOL!!! Poor delusional Ebby! The thought of her bringing down a Moo beast...BOL, BOL, BOL!!!
"My overstuffed sausage"!!!!! BOL!
Nana calls me her "porkchop"!
I am so jealous of all the meat you get!!! I wish I had some! Tell me one thing though.....did anyone get the bully stick from the moo beast?
All that meat sure sounds good - yummmm. One time I saw some of those cows - I barked at 'em and they went away. Mommy lets me have some yummy cow meat but she has to get hers from the store. It's really yummy - I love it so much!

I get ground beef all the time-- it is so yummy. Momma's youngest daughter used to call cattle "dinner on the hoof". Your grandpop lives in Blanco? My Momma grew up in San Antonio and her parents live in Kerrville. I love the Hill country!
p.s. My Momma's oldest daughter is Whitley's mom.
