Arrival Story:
Maya was bought from a breeder by a guy who wanted a chick magnet. He ended up working at the mines, so was gone for weeks on end and his brother would come in the morning, feed her and come back the next day. She became destructive left on her own, so he ended up giving her away. She kept runing away from the new owner and the guy's neighbours who were the second contact on the dog's collar decided to keep her after the 5th time they went to pick her up. She showed sign of neglect and poor diet. The new owners decided to go overseas for holiday so gave her to SAFE (Saving Animals From Euthonasia) and I ended up getting her from SAFE.

Bio:
She has a strong prey drive and as long as other dogs aren't moving she is great with them. Once they run, the hunt is on and she has a couple of times tried to bite them on the back. She is not allowed off the leash.
