Julia Szabo

Julia Szabo is nationally recognized as an authority on living stylishly with dogs and cats. Her writings on pets have been published in The New York Times, The New York Post, The New Yorker, Travel + Leisure, Departures, Country Living, and Cesar's Way, and her expert commentary has appeared in Family Circle, Real Simple, and The Los Angeles Times as well as on the AP newswire. She's made numerous TV appearances, most memorably on the PBS Nature documentary Why We Love Cats and Dogs, and is a frequent guest of Morning Living on Sirius Radio's Martha Stewart Channel.

The author of six lifestyle books, including the acclaimed Animal House Style and Pretty Pet-Friendly, Julia is a columnist for Dogster and makes guest appearances on Catster. A longtime scholar of astrology, Julia also produces Traditional Home magazine's monthly "Star Style" column, a feature about design and the Zodiac.
