My min pin pulls alot when we take him on his leash he wants to almost run and pulls so hard his front feet come off the ground and he ends up choking himself then kind of wheezes for a few minutes after we have tried tugging and saying stop pullin but nothing has helped he continues to pull even when we take him to petsmart, are on trails or just taking him to potty. And Ideas on a solution?
Oh boy, ya I have a bit of trouble with this one too. It just takes a little time and you'll have it down in no time here are some tips you can try out:
-Teach your dog "Heel", start at first at the house and slowly make your way outside.
-Going in the opposite way whenver your pooch starts getting too far ahead (gently though, your pooch is a min pin afterall).
-Countercondition by saying "Watch me!" and having her put her attention on you rather than pulling ahead.
