Okay so about a year ago we got a little yorkie named Sugar and we were starting to train her. Then, sadly, she broke her leg and it took months for it to get better. While her leg was broken we pretty much stopped all training. Now that she's better we've caught her up on almost all her essential training except POTTY TRAINING!!! We have a Maltese also and he's Perfectly potty trained. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to train her? We can use pee pads or we can take her outside it really doesn't matter... Just want her trained. I know we should have trained her better but we didn't so please help! Oh and NO MEAN COMMENTS! Thanks in advance! :•D

Don't feel bad! it happens to the best of us! :)
You can potty train a puppy or an older dog the same way. You just need to be a little more patient and consistent with the older dog because she already has a history of peeing wherever she wants. It's like having to learn two things (Stop peeing anywhere and pee only outside). But it's all part of the same program...
Here is a website with a good step-by-step guide on how to do it. Even though it's for puppies...for older dogs it's the same!

And it has an advantage...your older dog can actually old her bladder for a longer period of time!
P.S: I'm having a little trouble with the link to show correctly...but if you click on the highlighted area it will take you there.
