Possibly, or it could be Great Dane, Catahoula, or Mastiff.
I don't really see the Plott except for the brindle color and floppy ears, which could occur in any of the breeds I listed.

I would say he could very well be part plott hound. His facial feachers look like if you mixed a GS and PH together. But then there are a lot of other dogs that have that brindle markings. I don't think he is a great dane mix or mastiff, he seems to small.
