Having dogs spayed.
Both my girls are at the vet right at this moment, they are both getting spayed. Any tips for their recovery afterwards? I've never had a dog spayed before.

you should let them run around a lot because it may break open the wound, dont let them on furniture and be with them in they go up or down the stairs incase of breaking the stitching, if they run around far too much and wont stop then put them in a crate or restrict the area they have to move around in and when their calmer let them out again. The vet should tell you all about their after care but basically keep it low key so they don't rip out their stitches.

The vet will give you a paper with instructions when you come to pick them up.
