giant schnauzer eye problem.
Saw a Vet. April 30th, Bilateral Conjunctivitis, diagnosis, given, Baytril & Azium injection. plus
Ciprofloxacin hcl tabs 500mg,to be taken for 7 days 2x per day and a eye ointment 2x per day
Bacitracin/neo/polyophth-H. The tabs on May 7th.
was thye last dosage. I have continued the eye ointment for 2 more weeks, and am still using the ontiment but only once a day
The eyes are now clear but I see a rime of what appears to be clotted blood between the eye ball
and the white of the eye
What do you suggest, aside from going to a Vet.
which I can't afford.
Thank you for any help you can give me.

First, call your vet. That won't cost you a thing and if you have a decent vet, they'll understand that you've just been in and spent money on meds and will be happy to follow up over the phone with you.
Then, if it's truly something that needs to be seen in person, they can have you come in and you'll know for sure instead of having to wait and be sorry you didn't go back earlier, costs aside.
Dogs actually have three eyelids. There is a very, very thin membrane that covers the eye when dogs are startled or when they are vulnerable (you see this sometimes as a white eye when the dog is asleep and dreaming and the outer lids open a bit.) Sometimes, when there has been an irritation from infection, there can be a bit of a blood blister that appears on the surface of this inner membrane. Most of the time it's harmless, but any time there is an issue with the eye area, it's best to have a vet's opinion and care.
So don't take my word for it, call the vet up today!
Good luck.
