Dew claw fell off

One day my Xolo dog was running on the carpet and it got stuck to his dew claw. I think it got very loose because when I found him he had no dew claw. Is it possible he chewed it off?

I guess anything is possible. Usually if an older dog does get the dew claw caught and ripped off. It is very painfulfor the dog. If it is fine. And the dog seems to not have any pain. You were very lucky
