These cranberry mint cookies are a festive holiday treat for your dog. They have a few ingredients that you may have to go out and buy, but they’re definitely unique in their ingredients and most dogs will surely love them!
2tablespoonsfinely chopped mint leavesSpearmint or Peppermint
2tablespoonsplain, unsweetened applesauce
½applepeeled, cored, and chopped
1flax egg1 tablespoon flaxseed combined with 3 tablespoons warm water
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350˚ F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, make the flax egg by using a whisk to combine the flaxseed and warm water. Let it sit for 10 minutes until a gel-like consistency is formed.
Add the cranberries, mint, applesauce, and chopped apple to the bowl and stir.
Add the coconut flour and water to the bowl and stir.
Drop bite sized amounts of the dough onto the baking sheet or roll out the dough and use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the cookies turn light brown.
