This tasty and refreshing smoothie is also a relatively low-calorie choice for dogs. Kale is known to be a superfood and is a common ingredient in fresh dog food recipes. It’s rich in antioxidants and is a good source of vitamin C and vitamin K. Make sure to keep this recipe healthy by using fresh pineapple chunks. Canned or jarred pineapples are typically preserved in syrup and will be too sugary for dogs.
