“Grandview Park, which opened on October 4, 2003, is 37 acres and the largest dog park in south King County. There is an upper level grassy field where you can enjoy stunning views of Mount Rainier and the Green River Valley. Follow the road down to the lower level and an old soccer field provides a flat area where dogs can race around to their heart's content. There are also trails, nicely gated to keep wanderers from exploring off on their own. Grandview's maintenance is completely funded by its users and SODA. Users of Grandview are encouraged to become members of SODA. Restroom facilities consist of a port-a-potty. Although placed in a nice enclosure built by volunteers, it remains nevertheless what it is. Bring your own water in the winter.”

HUGE!

This is a fun park, it is huge!, which is always a big plus. There are also water fountains, grassy areas and sandy areas, beautiful views, etc. There are not many trees so finding shade can be tough, and it is POORLY fenced- so be very careful. Overall, it is great!

Love Grandview!!

I love Grandview dog park. My mommy drives from downtown Puyallup just to take me there because it's so much fun. The little dog park in Puyallup doesn't allow me enough space to run around, but Grandview is so big and open I can sniff and run and run....so much fun!!! I haven't had many problems with aggressive dogs there and they have put up a sign listing a dangerous dog code for SeaTac and that all Pits/pit mixes need to be leashed and muzzled. Of course, either people don't see the sign or they don't care. My mommy's wondering what to do about this. Would it be too extreme to call the non-emergency number for the police when this happens? Some other things to keep in mind, it's not totally fenced, if your dog likes to run away from you there are chances for it to escape. I love to be near my mommy, so this isn't a problem for me. Overall, this is an awesome park! And the humans can enjoy a beautiful view of Mt. Rainier on clear days.

Very big area, but lookout for aggressive dogs

I really love the layout of this park, very spacious and even has a fresh-water fountain for your dog to drink from. However there's always a few people who ruin the my dog's experience. 3 of the 4 times I took my Golden there she was attacked by a pit-bull, once drawing blood. Not the dog's fault of course, just bad owners who don't care what their dogs do to others. I always have to leave early because of these stupid people with their aggressive dogs, so just stay on the lookout, and try to stay with the friendly ones if possible. I don't have a problem with people wanting their aggressive guard dogs, just don't bring them to DOG PARKS! Go exercise them yourself ON A LEASH.
