Not what I expected.I went to Carlile's the first time in August 2008. I was initially happy with the service. The price is good, the people were friendly, and Kiwi seemed to enjoy going there. Then I started to notice some negative aspects. First, they kept asking me if I filled out an emergency form, which I did three times. They could never seem to find it and that concerned me because if Kiwi really did have an emergency, how would they contact me? I got off work really early one day and went to pick him up and they couldn't find him. I was peering around the corner and saw him in a cage. The purpose of taking him there is to socialize with other dogs and not be in a cage. When I pointed out that it was him (because they couldn't find him), they immediatly said that he wasn't in there for a long time. I have no idea of knowing, but the fact that he was in the cage made me upset. Just beware if you take your dog here. |
Paws off! Grace is mine all mine!I have been in love with Grace (Carlile's is her place) for more than 10 years now. In fact, I love Grace so much that I don't even look back when Mommy and Daddy drop me off for a bath or a vacation stay. I mean, sure, I love Mommy and Daddy, but there is just something about Grace. I would follow her to the ends of the earth. Lucky for you, there are lots of other nice folks at Carlile's. You can have your choice of one of them. All the other dogs agree with me that the folks at Carlile's go out of their way to find the situation that works best for each dog guest. Playful dogs who like companionship are put in play pens with like-minded dogs. Fragile, old dogs and "scaredy-cat" dogs are kept close by and monitored. They have even been happy to give me my medicine while I was there on vacation. I notice they keep cats too although they have never let me actually meet one.
