nobody like the shelter but....Nobody likes the animal shelter but they DO provide a needed service. A few months ago, mommy rescued a dog off the street and they had one of their officers come to our home and picked up the dog. They posted the dogs picture on their website, so that the owners would be able to claim her. Of course, after three days, if unclaimed the dog either goes into their adoption agency OR is euthanized. Mommy was ecstatic the next day when she checked and their site said the dog was no longer available. Since the three days had not passed, the only other thing that could have meant was that it was found and claimed by its owner!! :-) |
countypetsI came from here. It is like an animal control facility. They do a great job with adoptions through limited resources. |
