getting spiffed upI love coming here. They take excellent care of me. I just love my groomer Cara, she has gentle hands and is very sweet! Woof! Sasha |
Best place for a bath in town!So many good things to say about this place. The groomer is really nice, very knowledgeable and really good with all dogs. Our first experience was being left there with the groomer for a "Furminator" treatment - which included a bath, nail clip, ear cleaning and all of that plus the Furminator shampoo and undercoat treatment. I looked at least 5 pounds lighter after the treatment, but still had my nice top coat and coloring. Xena lost so much hair around her ruff that I had to tighten her collar!!! About two weeks later we went back for a self-service bath. I took some of my own brushes and my Kong Zoom Groom (if you don't have a Kong Zoom Groom, get one now!!!). Just having the raised tubs, with high walls and the mesh stand, was worth the bath charge. They had leashes in the tubs ready to go. The sprayer is great!!!! Not too much, not too little. It is a huge improvement from the bathtub or the sink in terms of the human back! There isn't a strict time limit for using the bathing area. I can just pick Xena up for the tub, but there was a Great Pyranese/St. Bernard mix and the steps were great! It took us about 45 minutes from sign-in to complete payment. They have some great shampoo options, or you can bring your own. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They even have some treats you can get right there for after bath time. |
