Beer, BBQ, & moreScholz's has a large beer garden behind the restaurant where friendly, leashed dogs are welcome. If you don't have a dog you'll probably want to sit inside. We visited recently with our 2 dogs on a warm day for lunch, and the staff, after greeting us, promptly got them a large, clean bowl of cool, fresh water without us having to ask. Outdoor decor is casual of course, with a brick floor, picnic tables, tv's, and an outdoor stage. It's not covered, so you don't want to bring your dog on a rainy day, but there is a large tree in the middle of the garden for shade. Besides the great beer selection, they offer a large menu with something for everyone: burgers, barbeque, sandwiches, German fare, wings, chicken fried steak, etc. The food was quite good and the service was excellent so we'll definately be going back. |
