Front desk staff rude
Mom's taken foster dogs here couple of times, to get a rabies shot that the adoption fee at the shelter covers the cost of, but the shelter dosen't administer. The vet they saw was ok, nothing impressive, but then, the visit was routine. However, last time we went was to get a medication my own vet was out of. The receptionist was the most callous I've ever encountered, and we've been to several over the years. She looked at our prescription, written out by our vet, as if it smelled bad, and sneered "Have a seat", then sat there and did nothing for 1/2 an hour while we waited. When mom finally asked again, since it was getting close to closing time, she turned to another person behind the desk and showed her the prescription, which she'd been holding the whole time and asked her about it. After another wait of several minutes, she came back and said "We can't do it". We sat there about 40 minutes for nothing. Mom says she'd be scared to death to have to try to get by her to get a dog seen in an emergency.
Love this place! Love this place! Cannot say it enough - the receptionists and vet techs are all very nice and knowledgeable and the vets are great. We see Dr. Clark and he is AWESOME!! We are biased because he saved Beauregard's life when other vets couldn't. But regardless, he is very thorough and very realistic. We have referred several of our friends to him and they love him too. Plus, all of our fosters meet him @ least once as well and he takes equally good care of all of us!!
