Fair park but irresponsible ownersOkay we came to this park a few times when Zack was younger. The first time was good. But the more we went the more irresponibility we noticed. The last time we went someone let a large dog (some kind of pit or boxer mix) loose in the small dog fence. It went after Zack. We managed to pull Zack out of there with barely a scratch, thanks to another dog owner whose dog also caught up in it. And the owners of this big dog encouraged this behavior. that was the last straw for us. Its a good sized park, but if I were to go I would just go walk around the pond with my dogs. If you don't live downtown I would recommend going to Fenway's Dog Park in Goodlettsville. Its not nearly as busy and people are a lot more careful with their dogs and courteous of the other dogs in the park than at Centennial. i give this park a fair rating. |
Great park, tons of dogsWe usually take Chevy to the dog park up in Goodlettsville, but this park is hands down the best so far. Although, right now in January and February it is a little muddy, it is overall a great park. You are never the only person at the park with your dog. Chevy loves it and will be back soon! |
