Personable, knowledgeable, caringTo be honest, I have not compared the prices to the grocery or big-box stores; it's possible it's a slightly higher cost. Here's what's of greatest worth: they really have a deep caring for pets. Their products are high-quality. The cashiers are more than just cashiers; they know pets and answer all kinds of questions about pet care. They remember me when I visit. The owner and her pet are often on the premises. Excellent Store With Homey FeelThis is an excellent pet store with a homey feel. It's a little pricey compared to some of the larger chains, but a good place to look if you can't find something specific. I've only been there a handful of times, but each time, I was looking for something I couldn't find at the larger chains (e.g., Walmart, Petco), and was always provided with excellent and very knowledgeable information and advice. Also, the one time they didn't have the product I needed in the size I needed, they ordered it for me and it arrived within a week. On the fun side, Wiscoy also organizes some nice doggie-owner get-togethers, such as the Easter Biscuit Hunt and the August Ice Cream Socials.
